By Seaplane Transfer
It takes 35 minutes on a seaplane to reach Fushifaru resort. For 35 minutes you can take a bird eye’s view of the island from the sky. Enjoy the vastness of the gigantic Indian Ocean which is visible along with the sea life it shares.
This is a compulsory pre-booking service that runs from 6:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. It is hence mandatory for you to share our flight’s arrival and departure schedule with the resort at least 36 hours prior to your date of arrival.
In case your flight is landing outside the operating hours of the seaplane, you are advised to book a night’s accommodation at any of the hotels available near Male International airport or Hulhumale.
The round trip charges inclusive of all the taxes are as follows:
- Adults aged 12 years and above are charged USD 450 per head.
- Children between 2 years and 11 years are charged USD 270 per head.
- Infants below 2 years of age will enjoy a complimentary seaplane ride.

Normal 20 kg of luggage plus 5 kg of handbag luggage is allowed. Excess luggage will be charged USD 5 plus the applicable GST which is paid to the seaplane company soon after you check in.
Next day transfer will be done for passengers opting for seaplane soon after they confirm their arrival and departure schedule by 7:00 p.m. the same day of landing.
The seaplane transfers are subject to weather conditions, the terms and conditions of Trans Maldivian Airways and the local tidal hours. The resort takes no responsibility in any flight cancellation or delay as it is not directly involved in your sea transfer.
Once you pay for the seaplane, the charges are non-refundable. In case you have any question related to sea transfer, you must contact the resort staff and get clarification before you make a move out from your home country.
